Looking at the picture, I have no idea of it. Obviously, I am not a game player. A gamepad also called joy pad or control pad. We often heard that people discuss the gamepad. What is a gamepad? I believe that it is strange to the one who don’t know much about games. Gamepad is a kind of game controller, holding in hand, in which the numbers are used to offer input. The feature of a gamepad is action buttons and direction buttons. Generally, we held the action button with our right thumb. To the most, it is convenient to operate something with right hand. There are four-way digital cross
Some games need to a trackball with the gamepad. Shoulder, start, select, mode button are placed in some gamepad. The basic function of a gamepad is inputting on modern video game consoles. With the update of the video games, pad controller is different.
The third generation of video games is from 1983 to 1992. They are Nintendo Entertainment System, Master System, Atari 7800 pad controller accordingly. The Fourth Generation includes Genesis/Mega Drive, TurboGrafx-16 and Super Nintendo Entertainment System controllers. There are Atari Jaguar controller, Saturn, Virtual Boy controller and PlayStation 3.5 Nintendo 64 controller in Fifth Generation. About Sixth Generation, it is Dreamcast controller, PlayStation 2 controller, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox controller. The latest is Seventh Generation, the gamepad for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. They have their own features in different generation controllers. As a new user of game controller, it is so difficult to tell the difference between them. I should collect more information about the gamepad.
